About Us

 
      PS 155 Manhattan - The William Paca School  is an elementary public school located in East Harlem, New York under School District 4. It serves  220 students from various socio-economic and culturally diverse backgrounds.
 
    It currently provides an academic curriculum from 3K through fifth grade.
Our students and staff are mostly bilingual and speak various languages: Arabic, English,Mandarin, and Spanish.
 
    Every year PS 155M strives to be the best school in its district and city-wide through innovative technology, strong leadership, and rigorous academic standards providing students a safe, learning environment that fosters creativity, respect and kindness.

If the school leader builds capacity around meaningful connections, collaborative teachers and rigorous instruction, then teacher leaders will be able to design learning experiences that are engaging, data driven, as well as standards aligned that provide multiple opportunities for collaborative discussions ensuring that all students receive an equitable and autonomous education!

P.S. 155 will prepare each scholar academically by meeting students where they are and providing each scholar with rigorous standards-aligned education that will support them in academics and social emotional growth. This rigorous well-rounded and mindful education will give each scholar the tools needed to be successful in middle school, high school and college as well as the careers of the future.
